I've been busy getting ready for the holidays. As they say, it's time to rejoice, just like this beautiful quilt. I love the gold in these fabrics. The picture cannot capture the beautiful quality of the fabric. Don't tell, but this will be gifted to a loved one this holiday season.
It came together fairly quickly, even though I tried to screw it up all along the way. Thankfully sometimes things can be adjusted to fit even when we make mistakes. I cut some blocks incorrectly and put some of the borders in the wrong place, but it still came out amazing. That's due to the fabrics not the maker. LOL.
I know I've said this before, but I will say it again. Make sure you read your pattern before you start sewing to prevent some unnecessary mistakes. If you take the time to lay out your pieces too, you will also save yourself some time with Jack (the ripper).
Happy sewing. I'll be back with a new project soon.
